In Grezzago, Italy a robot picks up, palletizes and shrink wraps drums. The consistency of this automated process improves product quality during transportation and eliminates the potential for employee injury. The robot protects employee health and safety as finished pallets are moved to storage via a conveyor eliminating the need for manual removal and transport.
The Baummental, Germany facility utilizes an automatic camera system that results in low failure and reclamation rates compared to manual systems. In addition to the inspection of surfaces, compliance with geometric dimensions can be checked. Other benefits include reduced daily lifting which cases injury to the lower back over time and a reduction in forklift traffic which results in a 50% productivity increase.
In Erkelenz, Germany a semi-automatic loading system for bottles streamlines loading IBCs onto trucks. Conveyor take the bottles directly from the production machine to the loading docks drastically reducing forklift traffic and avoiding manual lifting and moving of containers.
