Benefits Plan Updates for 2024
We recognize that choosing the right workplace benefits can help you address your health care expenses. Mauser is committed to helping you understand your options, so that you are well-planned and well protected. Benefit plan changes for 2024 include:
- OPTUM RX: Starting Jan. 1, our pharmacy vendor is changing to OptumRx, a partner of UnitedHealthcare (UHC), providing a more streamlined user experience. While employees shouldn’t see many changes, participants will receive a new ID card from UHC.
- UPDATED HSA & FSA LIMITS, PLUS NEW LIMITED-PURPOSE FSA (FOR HSP): Increased pre-tax contribution limits to your HSA and FSA accounts for continued tax savings. Also, now offering a Limited-Purpose FSA which will allow HSP participants to save even more on a pre-tax basis to pay for dental and/or vision expenses.
- NEW CARRIER & ENHANCEMENTS TO VOLUNTARY BENEFITS: Now through MetLife enhanced benefits in coverage level/amounts and employee pricing for our supplemental benefits.

How to Enroll
During Open Enrollment, eligible employees have three options available for submitting benefit changes.
Benefits Portal Online
The online enrollment system is available 24/7 during the enrollment period.
Visit digital.alight.com/mauserpackaging or download the Alight Mobile app to register or log in, and follow the prompts to complete your enrollment.
For the best user experience, use Google Chrome when enrolling online.
Benefits Service Center by Phone
Call the Benefits Service Center at 1-833-793-0802 to speak with a Benefits Counselor who will explain your options, answer your questions, help you with benefits decisions, and take your elections over the phone. Calls to the Benefits Service Center will be answered in the order that they are received.

Enrollment Instructions
DURING OPEN ENROLLMENT, ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES CAN —
- Enroll in benefits
- Make changes to coverage levels
- Add or drop dependents*
- Enroll in spending account(s): HSA, FSA, DCFSA for 2024
- Designate life insurance beneficiary(ries)
You may enroll in the full employee benefit plan or choose only the individual components (medical, dental or vision) that meet your needs. For example, you may select medical but decline vision and dental coverage.
Open Enrollment also is your time to enroll in spending accounts. If you are participating currently in a spending account and wish to do so again in 2024, you must re-enroll.
