After Newnan, Ga was hit by a F-4 tornado Thursday night, the Mauser Packaging Solutions facility in Newnan took immediate action to help the community, including employees who were directly impacted. As of Monday, employees had donated over 30 cases of water, other drinks, snacks, food, baby items, and other essentials to impacted families and individuals assisting with clean-up. The facility also provided 2 barbeque lunches for Front Line and First Responders who are leading recovery efforts. The facility has been working closely with the Newnan Police Department, First Baptist of Newnan, The Nixon Center, Warrior Restoration and Samaritan’s Purse to direct donations and resources to those most in need.

“The eagerness of our employees to meet to the needs of our neighbors during this time has been amazing. It can be easy as a company to say that we care about our community, but our facility has proven that claim by stepping in to aid our neighbors during this tragedy,” commented Rashauna Bexley, Human Resources Manager in Newnan, Ga.
