Thanks for all you have done and are doing for our company in 2021. Mauser Packaging Solutions has made great progress over the last 12 months, with significant year-over-year operational and financial improvement, and I am looking forward to sharing our third quarter results with you in the next few weeks.
I think we can all feel proud of what we’ve accomplished this year. Despite challenging circumstances, your can-do attitude, and steadfast efforts to meet our customers’ needs have helped us turn the corner, and I believe this exemplary work ethic will continue to be the backbone of our company’s success.
But the momentum we’ve built can’t -- and won’t -- stop here.
We are on our way to doing better, bigger, and bolder things at Mauser to make sure this is a great place to work and a great company to work with.
I am pleased to introduce “Mauser Packaging Solutions’ Billion Dollar Plan: Building a sustainable future.” An investment plan of approximately $1 billion USD over the next four years to accelerate our vision to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, drive sustainable operations, reduce our impact on the environment, and empower our employees to grow.
As part of the Billion Dollar Plan, our long-term investments will focus on the following four areas:
- Our team. We are creating better work environments, expanding opportunities to grow, offering more competitive rewards and incentives, and providing our people with tools to succeed.
- Growth through innovation and added capacity. We want to make Mauser THE “go-to” packaging solutions provider.
- Infrastructure and assets. Improvements will drive automation, safety, and cost reductions to help make your jobs easier and enhance the customer experience.
- Aggressive sustainability goals. Our commitment to the environment is critical today more than ever and undeniably essential for our future.
Together, we are going to build on the things we’re doing right and fix what isn’t working. To do that, we are counting on you to be part of the solution. I encourage you to continue to provide your feedback and ideas through our EIP and SIP programs and through other channels and groups where you can voice your concerns and suggestions.
